Aubrey Hilgers, a member of Junior Golf Association of Arizona, helped Team USA defend its title at the 2026 PING Junior Solheim Cup, contested September 7-8 at Bernardus Golf in Cromvoirt, Netherlands. Chosen as a captain’s pick, the class of 2028 recruit from Surprise went 2-1 in her matches en route to the team’s 13-11 victory.
In the first match, paired with fellow captain’s pick Madeleine Conser, Hilgers won 4&3 in morning and 5&3 in the second match of the day. Those two points helped the Americans take a 9½-2½ lead into singles. Despite Europe winning 8½ of 12 singles points on the final day, team USA held on to successfully defend its title.
“Aubrey has represented the JGAA and the state of Arizona with tremendous pride throughout her junior career, and this is a major milestone in that journey,” said JGAA Executive Director Scott McNevin. “Going 2-1 in her first Junior Solheim Cup and helping Team USA bring home the trophy is an incredible accomplishment.”
The win was Team USA’s second straight Junior Solheim Cup title and its ninth overall. It capped a summer that already included a Girls Junior PGA Championship and a T5 at the U.S. Girls’ Junior. She entered the matches No. 22 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.
