Last week, the Southwest PGA Board of Directors and Southwest PGA Foundation leadership gathered at the Arizona State Senate for a meeting and proclamation presentation featuring State Senator T.J. Shope, who also chairs the bipartisan golf caucus dedicated to protecting and promoting Arizona’s golf industry. Arizona Alliance for Golf representatives were honored to participate and celebrate the positive impact of PGA golf professionals statewide, including the PGA Foundation’s uplifting programs for local veterans and children.
At the conclusion, the attending golf contingent received a standing ovation from the state senators after the proclamation was read, capping off a productive and memorable morning at the state capital.
