Central to AAG’s mission of sharing information about Arizona golf’s responsible water stewardship, we regularly engage with elected officials across government and regulatory spectrums, with both staff and leaders at multiple levels to reinforce golf’s wide-ranging benefits.
The golf industry was the topic in a productive and engaging December meeting between AAG leadership and Senator Kerr, chairwoman of the state senate’s water committee. An avid golfer herself, she then invited the AAG to present Arizona’s golf’s “scorecard” at her committee in front of her colleagues who represent areas across the state.
Rob Collins, chair of the AAG water committee, ran through the forward-thinking innovation, investment, and sustainability at the heart of the Arizona golf industry – decades ahead of other regulated water users in the state and region.
