Nationwide, the PGA of America is made up of more than 30,000 golf professionals. Each one lives and loves the game of golf as coaches, business people, community leaders and mentors, working daily for over 100 years to drive interest, participation and enjoyment for generations to come.

For the world’s top players, the PGA of America hosts the Ryder Cup, PGA Championship, KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship as well as a numerous of other championships.

With deep connections to philanthropy, PGA of America REACH – PGA’s charitable foundation – positively impacts the lives of youth, military, and diverse populations by enabling access to PGA Golf Professionals, PGA Sections and the game of golf. For the next generation, the PGA Jr. League offers fun, social and inclusive opportunities for boys and girls. PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) introduces golf to veterans and active-duty military. PGA WORKS is a strategic initiative designed to diversify the golf industry’s workforce, and PGA Places to Play ensures golf becomes more accessible.

The local Southwest PGA chapter – from Southern Nevada to Arizona – facilitates these vital programs near to home with more than 1,200 resident-expert PGA Professionals growing and teaching the game. Since its inception, the Southwest PGA Foundation has provided more than $3.5 million in support of local charities, including Ronald McDonald House Charities, Special Olympics Arizona, Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers and active and veteran military personnel.
