The 4th Annual Arizona Lodging and Tourism Association (AzLTA) Gala was recently held to recognize those who support statewide advocacy, advance pro-tourism policies, and promote hospitality and tourism in Arizona. Among the highlights, the Arizona golf industry was honored for its significant contributions to the state’s tourism economy.

Golf Channel’s Brandel Chamblee spoke at the event and other local golf industry leaders were on hand to accept the award including Mark Lowry with the National Golf Players Development Foundation, Brandon Rogers with the AZ Caddie and Leadership Academy, Bernie Eaton with the Southwest PGA, Gregg Tryhus with the Arizona Alliance for Golf, Catherine Carmignani with AZ GOLF, Erin McDonough with First Tee – Phoenix, Jay McGrath with Troon Golf, Scott McNevin with the Junior Golf Association of Arizona, and others.

The signature celebration, which was held October 3 at JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa, brought together Arizona tourism leaders including industry executives, elected officials, business leaders and community champions.

The evening celebrated the substantial impact of Arizona’s tourism industry on the state’s economy, workforce and communities. It also honored exceptional leaders and organizations whose contributions have elevated the industry at the local, state, and national levels through advocacy, tourism, lodging, arts, attractions and sports.
